On April 12th, Ardsley clubs Innovate and Girls Who Code took a field trip to the NYC Spotify office. Students had the opportunity to hear from a variety of Spotify engineers and learn about what working in the tech industry is like, what kinds of jobs are available in the field, and what skills they’ll need in the future. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the importance of teamwork and collaboration in the technology sector, hearing directly from an Agile coach who focuses on building strong team dynamics and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
